Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to be fluent in French/English to apply for a position at St. B hospital?
No. While we encourage French-speaking applicants to consider a career at St. Boniface Hospital, we do not require staff to speak French unless the position is a designated bilingual position. We are proud of our Francophone roots and diverse community, and you will hear many languages spoken throughout the halls of the hospital.
Is there parking available for staff?
St. Boniface Hospital does not provide free parking for staff, however, there are other parking options within the community surrounding the hospital. Employees are responsible for any parking expenses incurred. If you would like to be added to our waiting list for a parking spot in one of St. Boniface’s on-site parking lots, please notify our HR department.
I have applied for several positions and I have not heard anything back. How do I know that you have received my application?
You will receive an automated message from SuccessFactors indicating we have received your application. Your application will be reviewed, and we will contact you if you are selected to continue in the recruitment process.
How long does it take to receive a response for an interview?
After the closing date, those who have been selected for an interview will be notified.

Professional references are required. These are people who, based on their knowledge of your work ethic, abilities, and accomplishments, can attest to your suitability for a position. For example, your supervisor, manager, director or instructor.
I’ve accepted the position, who can I reach out to for help? What will happen next? What can I expect to receive and how?

Within a few days, our HR department will send you an email with documentation you are required to complete, along with a link to our employee onboarding portal.
