Internal Medicine
Delivering a range of services to adults requiring diagnosis and treatment of complex medical conditions, St. Boniface’s Medicine Program admits over 4,000 patients each year, and handles approximately 40,000 visits through its outpatient clinics.
The program employs a multi-disciplinary team approach to health care that brings together nurses, physicians, clinical dietitians, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, pharmacists and social workers for the care of patients.
Services of the program include general internal medicine, endocrinology, respiratory medicine, gastroenterology, hematology, oncology and neurology. Community outreach services include home intravenous therapy and home nutrition therapy.
