Emergency Department Redevelopment Project

Our new Emergency Department is now open!

The new Emergency Department at St. Boniface Hospital has been designed to improve patient and staff experiences and ensure timelier access to care, while maximizing functionality and flexibility and providing expanded space for more patients.

Parking

• The south parking lot outside the South Entrance remains available to the public.
• In addition, there is public parking in the hospital parkade and its associated surface lots to the east of Taché Ave.
• Limited metered public parking is available outside the West Block buildings – the Asper Institute, McEwen Centre, Sakharov MRI Facility and Albrechtsen Research Centre.
• Patients and visitors may also find parking in the surrounding neighbourhood, either in private lots or on the street.
